Marketplace & Main is a redevelopment project done in cooperation with the City of Hopkins to fulfill its vision of the eastward improvement of Mainstreet. The four story structure will provide 53 rental residences and 5,500 SF of specialty services and retail. Architecturally compatible town-homes will frame the project while fully utilizing the angular property site.
Property/Site
The 1.6 acre property overlooks downtown Hopkins, just west of Highway 169, is intersected by 7th Avenue North and bordered by Mainstreet and the Lake Minnetonka Regional hiking path.
Project Information
Marketplace & Main Apartments will consist of 53 residential market rate homes. These units will be located on all four floors. The apartments consist of three types of units: 31 one bedroom flats; 12 one bedroom + den flats; 3 two bedroom flats and; 7 two bedroom + den units. The overall design, common areas and shared amenities, such as heated underground parking, mail room, storage lockers, community room and club quality fitness center, combine with the ambiance of downtown for a special living experience.
The 5,500 SF of first floor commercial retail space faces Mainstreet.
