Brooklyn Park’s Village Creek is a multifaceted redevelopment project. Begun in 2005 it is transforming the historical heart of this northwest metro community. The Beard Group was brought in to the initiative to master plan and facilitate town home development and provide loft residences, commercial and retail properties, and lifestyle enhancements as a centrepiece for the redevelopment.

A 134 acre area located along Brooklyn Boulevard at Zane Avenue North, in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Project Information

Serve the community’s redevelopment project as master developer and planner by delivering market driven housing, retail, recreational and professional services in the spirit of new urbanism.

Beard Group Comprehensive Projects:

    • Village Creek Professional — An office/retail building featuring 37,000 square feet of customizable space with 52 underground parking spaces. Groundbreaking is targeted for the fall of 2007.
    • Village Creek I. — a multiuse property with 19,000 sq ft of retail space; 49 loft condominium units on 2nd, and 3rd floors with 64 underground parking spaces. Groundbreaking is targeted for the fall of 2007.
    • Village Creek II. — a multiuse property with 20,000 sq ft retail space; 49 loft units on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors and 64 underground parking spaces. Groundbreaking is targeted for the fall of 2007.
    • Village Creek Residences & Commercial Plaza — a complementary planned neighborhood of 73 urban style town homes and 74 two story town homes adjoining the new Shingle Creek Park. The neighbourhood features miles of scenic walking trails that showcase original artworks, bridges, waterfalls, rapids and an amphitheatre. Ground has been broken and completion is planned for the spring of 2007.
